Brigitte von Humboldt received her degree in Art from the Academy of Arts affiliated by the University of Mainz in Germany. Her work has been exhibited in various European countries and in Brazil. Since 1979 she lives in Lagos, Portugal and works in her studio “ATELIER AZUL”. Her preferred medium is acrylics, as these allow her to explore a broad variety of painting techniques. The intense style of working does not only require great ability of focusing, but also a large measure of spontaneity.
