Hotel Nes dates back to 1984 but the building itself dates back to the 17th century. The building used to be a mansion, belonging to a wealthy Amsterdam family. Since 1931 the building was used as a pension. During the 2nd World War the pension was located in the Jewish Quarter. On December 16th, 1957 the first hotel opened its doors; Hotel Bego. April 1st, 1969 Hotel Warner took over.
The building was bought and totally renovated in 1984 by its present owner, it is now a very popular 3 star hotel catering to the needs of tourists and business travellers.
