Why do we use up our products so fast and then just throw them away? Our consumer society has gotten used to temporary and soulless products. The biggest threat to our goods is no longer direct competition from higher quality elsewhere. The real threat is cheap mass production. That is such a unnecessary shame. Clothes have become disposable goods. Often made under terrible conditions, with cheap materials and under unethical circumstances. Goods that used to be made of wood, steel or leather are now made out of plastic.
