Bluewater Algarve Lda was established in 1999.

As a result of continued growth, in 2004 Bluewater Algarve Yacht Services re-located from Lagos to a dedicated workshop and shipyard facility in the neighbouring deep-water harbour of Portimão. The facilities include modern purpose-built workshops, 20,000 sqm of secure hard standing and a 300t boatlift with a maximum beam of 9 metres.

In the last 4 years, we have focused our servicing and refit capability into the 20 – 45 metre LOA range, and have achieved some success with recent customers including 24m , 32m and 40m Jongerts, a 40m Sunseeker, The FB80 “Record”, a 25m Palmer Johnson, 2 one-off 20m yachts and a 30m Jongert. We currently have a 20 m Garcia Sailing Yacht for a complete external Paint job.
